Metropolitan Suite

The eight Metropolitan Suites offer 620 square feet of space and an exceptional environment for work and relaxation. Created by celebrated designers Sills Huniford, the Metropolitan Suite is perfect for the traveler who desires more space, as each features a sizeable sitting area and most connect to Deluxe rooms with two double beds.  

Large windows and elegant chandeliers create a light, airy space. A custom designed wall element house two closets, the carefully stocked mini-bar and the television. Architecturally inspired artwork adorn the suite walls providing a comforting residential touch. Each suite also features a large classically styled writing desk complemented with a comfortable chair. The luxuriant king bed offers Pratesi linens, the highest quality down comforters and plush, thick pillows.

The latest technologies have been provided to ensure an exceptional experience including Wi-Fi High Speed Internet Access, a Bose radio featuring an iPod Sound Dock, a DVD player, and a high definition, 42” flat screen LCD television.

In the suite's oversized master bathroom, earth tones of mosaic tiled walls and custom brass fixtures surround a unique mirror featuring a built-in 15” LCD television, only visible when turned on for viewing. To wrap you in the comforts of home, two marble sinks, spacious tiled standing shower, large soaking tub and Remède bathroom amenities along with plush St. Regis bathrobes await you.

Caroline Astor Suite

Named in honor of the indomitable “Mrs. Astor”, celebrated mother of the St. Regis founder, John Jacob Astor IV, the Caroline Astor Suites deliver the same level of grace and refinement that her namesake is famous for.

Each of the seven Caroline Astor Suites provides a spacious sanctuary offering a bedroom with an adjoining living area. The Caroline Astor Suites all enjoy lovely views overlooking either 16th Street or The Astor Terrace.

Offering over 665 square feet, the Caroline Astor Suites feature a custom designed wall element housing two closets, the carefully stocked mini-bar and the television. St. Regis Suite

The eight St. Regis Suites at over 1,000 square feet provide a spacious retreat for the traveler who desires a place to feel truly at home. Each suite features distinctive décor and modern amenities complemented by thoughtfully selected artwork and architectural drawings.

Because of their large size, the St. Regis suites are perfect for families. Many of the St. Regis Suites connect with a Deluxe King Room or a Caroline Astor Suite with two double beds, allowing the rooms to be configured as a two bedroom suite.

The suites offer a graceful entry foyer, which opens into the living area and an office space, with a sizeable writing desk and comfortable sitting area. The sitting area is tastefully furnished with a sofa and two plush arm chairs and also features a 42" high definition LCD television. Large windows fill the living room with light and create a spacious atmosphere in the suite.

The suite's large bedroom is separate from the living area and is accessible via the entry foyer. The bedroom features a light blue or purple color scheme and tall windows overlooking 16th and K streets. The king bed features Pratesi linens, the highest quality down comforters and plush, thick pillows.

Empire Suite

The 1,380 square foot Empire Suite is one of the largest and most elegantly appointed suites in the city of Washington. Decorated by the celebrated interior designers, Sills Huniford, the Empire Suite represents a truly unique expression of luxury.

The enormous main sitting room has ample space for entertaining. Large windows fill the space with natural light. The adjoining private dining room can comfortably seat up to ten and has an attached butler pantry. The Empire Suite also offers the convenience of a separate entrance that allows direct access to the dining room, making this suite even more suitable for private entertaining.

The master bedroom sets a new standard for opulence. The king bed is luxuriant and features Pratesi linens, the highest quality down comforters and plush, thick pillows.

The Empire Suite provides a classical environment, however, technology is pervasive, designed to deliver convenience, yet be completely unobtrusive. Wi-Fi High Speed Internet Access is available in each of the suite’s rooms, which also offer DVD players, state-of-the-art audio equipment, and high definition, 42” flat screen LCD televisions in the sitting room and a high definition, 32" flat screen LCD television in the bedroom.

The suite's oversized bathroom is complemented by a separate dressing room and walk-in closet, and offers both a generously sized soaking tub, and a stand alone shower. The bathroom also features mosaic tiled walls, custom brass fixtures, marble sinks and cherry wood accents. An additional innovation takes the form of a 15” LCD television that is recessed behind the oversized bathroom mirrors and remains completely invisible until switched on. Reméde bathroom amenities, plush bathrobes and sumptuous bath towels complement and complete the St. Regis bathing experience.

Presidential Suite

The 2,510 square foot Presidential Suite is the hotel’s largest and most lavishly appointed. Decorated by the celebrated interior designers, Sills Huniford, the Presidential Suite provides a particularly fine representation of their vision to celebrate and contemporize the hotel’s classical heritage and deliver a truly luxurious residential experience.  The suite connects with a Superior King Room allowing the rooms to be configured as a two bedroom suite.

The Presidential Suite has two entrances, one of which opens onto a beautiful entrance foyer graced with hand painted wallpaper from China and bespoke design details. Doorways to the left open onto the master suite and to the right onto the sitting area and dining room. The suite's second entrance provides direct access to the private dining room.

The enormous main sitting room features a beautiful decorative fireplace and has ample space for entertaining. Large windows and high ceilings fill the space with natural light. The adjoining private dining room can comfortably seat up to ten and has a large attached butler pantry that features Sub-Zero appliances. The suite was designed to allow our guests to entertain as formally as they wish, with as much convenience as a private home.

The Presidential Suite provides a classical environment, however, technology is pervasive, designed to deliver convenience, yet be completely unobtrusive. Wi-Fi High Speed Internet Access available in each of the suite’s rooms, which are also provided with 32” and 42” high definition LCD televisions, DVD players and state-of-the-art audio equipment.

The refinement of the suite's bedroom furnishings is matched only by their comfort and functionality. The king bed features Pratesi linens, the highest quality down comforters and plush, thick pillows. The inviting master bathroom features two dressing areas, dual rainforest showers, a large soaking tub and indulgent Remède bath amenities. An additional half bathroom is located off the living room.

The master bedroom has an adjoining library that provides a refined setting for more intimate gatherings. A large classically styled desk ensures ample space for work.
